Infrastructure
Front Office
In the Star category Front Office Laboratory, practical classes are held, where the students are trained to take Guest check-ins, check-outs and face various mock-situations put forth by trained lecturers (as in practical cases), thereby training them to suitably deal with all kinds of guest requests.
Housekeeping
The air-conditioned House Keeping Laboratory consists of a guest room with well-designed interiors. The laundry equipped with washing machines, driers and a wash area enable students to get the right feel of the department.
Restaurant
The air-conditioned Training Restaurant helps to enhance style and serving techniques. It operates 148 covers and also has a Training Bar to facilitate practical experience to the students. It is well equipped with silverware, glassware, tableware, gueridon trolley and other sophisticated equipment required for quality service.
It operates daily during lunch hours with a theme created by the students who function as Manager, Commis, pantry-in-charges, Hosts/ Hostesses etc. on a rota basis. It is also a venue for small Conferences, Luncheons, Dinner Meeting, presentation and Interviews all of which are managed by students.
Basic Training Kitchen
All the students are introduced to the world of culinary art in the basic training kitchen. They get familiar with the various kitchen equipment and are shown the intricate cutting method to begin with. They learn Regional, National and International cuisines of all kinds.
Placement Cell
All students will be provided with placement counseling and assistance on completion of their courses. Futuristic Academy would arrange interviews for placement with reputed Hotels periodically, such as: Ritz Carlton, Four seasons, SAS Radisson, Movenpick, Hayat, Tulip Group, The Pride Group, Quality Inn Group, Sayaji Hotels, Babylon, Gold Palace, Swosti Group of Hotels, Central Court, etc.
