Our Vision
There are quite a number of Hotel Management Schools in India. Unfortunately, most of them are city based and hence expensive and cater to the city based students. FIHM wants to reach the young aspiring men & women residing in the suburbs and remote villages. These young men & women having completed the basic level of education i.e. Class X, class XII or graduation, have dreams in their eyes striving to reach the sky, but they don’t know what to do next, as not many avenues are open to them in the suburban areas.
Coming from middle or low income families, very few of them can afford to pursue professional studies in the big cities. In these modern times, only basic education is not enough for one to get into the job market. One has to acquire Professional Skill in order to have a successful career.
Our Mission
FIHM will reach young men & women, will guide them and train & groom them into highly skilled professionals ready to build a successful career in the hospitality industry. Only FIHM has brought the hospitality industry to their doorstep.
The course fee structure at FIHM is specially made to suit the budget of middle & low income families. The provision of making payments in easy installments makes it affordable to these students.
FIHM will also provide scholarships to the meritorious candidates. In the near future FIHM will arrange an Education Loan from the Financial Institute for students.
We at Futuristic have a vision to open up 25 – 30 satellite campuses in the suburbs & rural areas in and around West Bengal and generate employment of around 17000 & above in the coming five years and many more in the subsequent years.
Social Responsibility
Futuristic Institute of Hotel Management in collaboration with Naihati Jagoran Welfare Association, have worked diligently in the villages of West Bengal for the uplift of the unprivileged sector of the rural population.
Together, we have arranged educational seminars on “career guidance, options and awareness program” especially in the hospitality and tourism industry, in more than 1100 gram panchayats of West Bengal in just 16 years.
By doing so, we could reach those young aspiring men and women in the villages, who, having completed the basic level education could not pursue further studies due to severe financial constraints; but who have dreams in their eyes to be successful in life. Our mission is to promote self-reliance by generating large scale employment among these masses.
While working in the villages, our study has revealed that young aspiring men and women attended the seminars in hordes and listened with rapt attention. Over 90% of the students were interested in pursuing our courses in hospitality management. Our course fees being at the minimum, with “jagoran” offering to bear up to 30% of the fees, we offer these students a varied number of courses to choose from. Only FIHM has brought the hospitality industry to their doorstep in the villages.
